LETTER FROM THE CHAIR OF THE BOARD
On behalf of the 13-member board of directors, welcome to the Hampton Roads Community Health Center’s website. We hope that you find the
information contained both informative and helpful.
As a federally qualified community health center, we are proud to serve all residents in the South Hampton Roads communities. Our team of employees consist of credentialed medical, dental and behavioral health providers. Our licensed nurses, medical assistants, dental hygienists and assistants, pharmacy and lab technicians, case managers and navigators are all available and delighted to serve our patients.
Hampton Roads Community Health Center has five locations in the cities of Portsmouth and Norfolk. Last year, it was recorded that we saw 12,628 patients, of which over half were individuals who were uninsured or underinsured. Our patients generated 32,348 service visits. Included in these numbers were 22,640 patient visits for chronic care and disease management, 8,795 oral health care services and 506 behavioral health care encounters.
Compassionate, trustworthy, knowledgeable and vision-driven sums up the character of our dedicated team of health care professionals.
